Our specialists can install a printer within 1-2 hours, while a multifunctional printer takes about 2-3 hours. If, for any reason, the installation takes longer, our technical support specialist will inform you. If you require additional services, the required time for their installation will be specified in the service report, and an invoice will be issued.What does the installation include?
- Installation of equipment and accessories included in the package;
- Connection of the device to the remote monitoring system;
- Entering network settings (IP address, gateway);
- Installation of drivers on the computer or server;
- Scanner settings (SMTP server) (up to 5 workstations);
- Demonstration of access to the box using Web Connection (Scan-to-Box only);
- User ID installation (optional, up to 5 users);
- Execution of trial copying, printing, scanning, testing of functions;
- Basic user training.
What should I do before installation?
To ensure a smooth installation process, please take care of the following during the appointment:
- Ensure that your IT department representative is available and present.
- During installation, our service engineer needs to have administrator access to the computer or server where the driver will be installed.
- Have IP addresses and other network data ready.
- Ensure that the server is accessible to enable the installation of the scanning-to-email function.
- Active electrical power, presence of network connections, and network cables should be in place.
If you require anything additional during installation that is not mentioned above, our technicians can support with this. Any supplementary tasks requested, fall beyond basic installation and will therefore incur an additional change.
If the Service Engineer’s schedule permits, he or she will do the extra task on the spot. Otherwise, a follow-up appointment can be made for you.
